Hey folks, Local Key team here. This is a property that we purchased not that long ago in Bethlehem, Georgia, which is in Barrow County. Just want to show you around a little bit. We have not started a full rehab on it yet. But we get asked questions of what types of properties do you buy.
So some houses we buy don’t need a lot of work. They’re actually just somebody looking to sell quickly, not wanting to deal with showings and commissions and all that good stuff. This property is one that needs a good bit of work.
So we’ll start from the outside here. As you can see, it needs brand new garage doors. These have been busted out. This front porch needs a little bit of help. It needs to be redone. The siding, the roof, all that stuff’s good. Obviously, the front door, we’ll be replacing as well. It’s got some wood rod at the bottom here, as well as at the top.
When you walk inside the home, you can see that it also needs a good bit of work. Some of the basic things like carpet, paint, that’ll need to be replaced and repainted, obviously. Let me show you around upstairs here as well. So the previous owner, the seller, decided to leave some of the belongings they did not want to take with them, so we’ll dispose of those for them.
One thing we have been able to do is the kitchen. So we took that old kitchen, threw it out, and put in a brand new kitchen with beautiful granite tops. This new kitchen is soft close, which we like to install in all the properties that we do. Gives it a nice touch, here. Clearly, this door will need to be replaced as well.
Going to the backyard. We’ll have to repair this porch. As you can see, some of the things that were left behind here. Nice yard, though.
So as I said, this house does need a good bit of work. It’s one of the properties that we’re going to start on here pretty quickly. Let me show you around a couple more places here so you get a picture of the type of houses we purchase.
Let’s walk downstairs so we can see what’s happening down here. You got your laundry area here. You got a large, oversized garage. You can see the previous owner left some of their belongings here. We’ll clearly dispose of those.
So we did buy this house for cash. We bought it as is. We closed on it quickly, allowing the seller to move on with their life and focus on other things. And we’ll take care of all the rehab. We will invest the time and money required to make this house look wonderful again.
So let’s go outside, and I’ll show you the backyard. Giving you a quick view of the back of the property and the backyard. So again, beautiful lot. This house will be absolutely stunning once it’s done, but it does need some work.
