Hey folks, Local Key Team here again. The latest house that we just purchased is in Commerce, Georgia, this happens to be in Banks County. So for those of you looking at a little bit of Georgia geography, Banks County is right next to Jackson County and Madison County, and Commerce happens to be in all three counties, but this one happens to be in beautiful banks county, Georgia.
So we just bought this property. As you can see, it needs a little bit of love. Garage door is falling apart on us. So we actually tried to open this thing and we couldn’t open it or close it. And we have some of the belongings that are still around here. So let me kind of walk you around so you can take a look and see the types of properties that we purchase. Some properties need more work than others. This one is one of the ones that needs more work, but you can see that this has a beautiful yard. A lot of privacy from the trees. Go to the backyard here. So a beautiful lot. It needs a bit of cleanup back here, but again, nothing we can’t handle. Let me show you a picture of the roof.
So as you can see, the grass is a little tall. Just for some reference, I’m standing back here and it’s about waist high, so we’ll go ahead and get that cleaned up. You see that big giant tree there. We’ll have to work with that tree to get some of those limbs off the roof. So, again, property needs some love and some maintenance, and that’s what we’re going to do to it is take care of it, get it cleaned up. You see a couple of places where the siding needs to be repaired, so we’ll take care of that as well. But it’s a beautiful subdivision, just kind of panorama view again of the house itself and then the lot. See, and there’s some basic things like for example, that condensation line, which is draining straight on the window. So we’ll go ahead and get that properly situated away from the house. We walk back around here.
So again, nice driveway, gives you lots of space to park your vehicles. We’re about to walk inside the property here, and I’ll show you around in the inside as well. So as we’re walking in, we’ll have to take care of some of these columns. This front door will be replaced, and we’re inside the house. So as you can see, this was a property that was in pre-foreclosure status. So the seller took what they wanted, they left what they did not want, and our job is to clean all this up, get this house back to its original condition. Here’s one of the bedrooms here, which we do quite often. So one of the full baths in the property. Another bedroom with a nice size closet.
We’ll walk into the kitchen here. So this is again, another example of the type of properties that we purchase. Some of them need a lot of work, some of them don’t need as much work. This one happens to be one that needs a lot. Got a couple of holes in the ceiling there. So we’ll walk through here. Just take a video of everything. This is the master bedroom, and a lot of stuff everywhere. That’s the biggest thing is getting some of that stuff cleaned up and taken care of.
So folks, we’ll walk into the garage here. This is where we have that broken door that we’ll clean out some of the stuff in the garage and we’ll go ahead and get that door replaced as soon as possible. Walk back through the house here, kind of broken door. But overall, a very nice home. Just again, needs a little bit of love and some elbow grease to get it looking good again. Hey folks, we’re back to another property here. I want to give you an update on this home in Commerce, Georgia. This one is in Banks County, Georgia. So if you recall in the previous video, we showed you the condition of the house when we first bought it. Now I want to show you after the house has been renovated. So you could see that the first thing that we did is we had this garage door replaced with a brand new garage door, a brand new opener. Had the entire house cleaned, washed on the outside. If you remember, these columns were missing. So we’ve got the columns back here, did some landscaping, took care of all the debris that was everywhere. Let’s go ahead and walk inside so I can show you some of the work that was done on the inside of the property.
When you first enter the home, you see that we have brand new paint, a nice neutral color, and then brand new flooring. This is a vinyl LVP floor. Phenomenal quality. It is water resistant, easily cleaned. We walk around here, always make sure we get some lighting fixtures that are updated. As you see, this was a fire alarm system. We replaced all those. Walk into the bathroom, and you’ll see that the bathroom has brand new vanities with granite countertops, the bedroom’s, brand new carpeting everywhere.
If you remember, this is the room that had all the graffiti on the walls. So you can see how that looks. I want to show you how this new kitchen presents itself. So check out this kitchen. Brand new kitchen. New kitchen countertops, new kitchen cabinets, soft-close drawers, so when you close drawer, it closes itself. Brand new appliances, dishwasher. This backsplash is one that we put in on a lot of our properties. It’s marble. So natural marble backsplash adds a very exquisite touch to the properties. Of course, you got the tile flooring in here. Let me walk into the master bedroom here. Again, new carpeting, everything updated. Same deal with the master bedroom, brand new vanities. You have high quality granite countertops, lighting fixtures, this house is ready for a new family. Ready for a new occupant. It’s a great opportunity for somebody to come in, live, not have to do really anything to it for a long time. It’s a wonderful property.
